Old Bancroftian's Day was blessed this year with splendid weather. 200 or more OBs turned out, many with wives and families. There was jazz and cricket and magic for the children, and of course the traditional service and wreath laying. In the afternoon small groups of OBs could be seen touring the school, each with the guidance of a sixth former. Sometimes they reminisced and sometimes they marvelled at the new facilities. Click here to see more photographs of the day.
The 60 years-on reunion achieved impressive numbers as can be seen from the group photograph.

The 70 years-on also did well:

A special occasion this year was the recognition of Jeremy Bromfield's contribution to Bancroftian cricket by the naming of the cricket pavilion. Jeremy was also given a memorial display, a replica of which will hang in the pavilion to inform future generations of Bancroftians who might otherwise think, as Mary Ireland put it, "Who was Jeremy Bromfield?".
